Export Delivery - Operating Procedures
i. Customer to send the export booking to email@example.com. Export booking must include the following information:
Size and gross weight once packed
VGM and PRA Submitted once packed
Vessel Name and Voyage Number
Goods description (Palletised, Loose Cartons, Hazardous or Refrigerated)
Hazardous information if relevant
Reefer temperature if relevant
Empty Park the container is released from
Dock number or area the empty container is to be placed
Any special requirements (side loader, drop trailer etc…)
ii. Cityside Transport will arrange the export booking schedule with reasonable time allowed to plan and load containers before cut-off is met. Customer needs to ensure the correct empty container park and release details are correct and that stock is available with the shipping lines.
iii. Cityside Transport Operations will plan for the empty container to be picked up from the empty park and delivered to the client’s premises.
iv. Cityside Transport Operations will advise relative personnel at Customer if there are any problems with the delivery or release.
v. Please ensure containers are planned for loading in time to meet cut off times.
vi. Once the container is loaded and paperwork completed, Customer to confirm container and seal number along with the verified weight.
vii. When the driver arrives to collect the full container, he must be supplied with a copy of the verified weight and if relevant, a copy of the hazardous documentation before moving the full container.
